Assist with general Office Management with a portion of the role devoted to quality assurance systems and compliance standards administered by the state of Connecticut. Candidates with prior policy compliance experience are preferred. Will train the right candidate on compliance procedures related to Medicaid.
Provide Office Management and administrative support to the Director
Coordinate and implement quality assurance systems and standards of compliance
Monitor services statewide to ensure compliance with regulations and standards (i.e. State of CT, Medicaid, and Insurance regulations, etc.)
Perform the duties related to billing and invoicing, including verifying documentation, performing accurate data entry and authorizing monthly invoices for independent contractors .
Submit necessary paperwork to State of CT for required prior authorization approvals.
Respond to questions and inquiries from staff, clients, and external agencies.
Ensure Office Operations demonstrate best practices and comply with our client’s policies and procedures and federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines governing their programs
Coordinate the purchasing of office supplies and program materials
Assist with new staff training
Manage intranet and electronic communications
Oversee and provide guidance to administrative staff as necessary
Manage passwords and multiple web-based systems including the states, and reminder service
Assist with scheduling new referrals. Coordinate and schedule evaluations, distribute welcome packets
Provide administrative support for the office, including answering phones and redirecting them as necessary, scheduling meetings, distributing and sending mail, filing, copying and faxing documents, etc.
Assumes other duties assigned as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
5 years’ experience in office administration required with supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in policy compliance preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer savvy; strong MS Office experience; WORD, excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
